An interactive conversation with Mrs. Kalyani on Sports and Giftedness.

In a conversation with Mrs. Kalyani, she was very insightful in her perspective on giftedness and sports. She is not only an educator but also a mother of two children who have been active in sports from an early age. Mrs. Kalyani, a Mensan, is an elite volleyball player who shares her experience of growing up with the game. She talks about how she discovered her passion for volleyball and pursued it through high school and college. She also shared her experiences of joys of team building, understanding hardships of travel, moods of teammates and adjusting to semi-rural accommodations was not an easy task. Kalyani was able to see the skills like perseverance, commitment, team building, and achieving goals through sports. Today, as a mother of two with a successful career, she can use these skills as a parent and nurture her own ambitions and guide her children towards the future.
